Shortlisted as a finalist for the TPOTY 2009
I am delighted to say that I was shortlisted as a finalist for the international Travel Photographer of the year award 2009 for the second year running. Unfortunatley, my entry only made it to number 16 of the 'Homeland' category - guess I need to try harder.....
The 'Homeland' category consisted of a portfolio of four related images taken from my homeland, to illustrate either its people or the landscape and what makes it special. The aim was to capture its essence - what makes it appealing to me as a photographer and what would make a traveler come to see my homeland.
